Decarb Challenges in the Regions - Projects from Australia & NZ

Decarbonisation is a non-negotiable, but recognising the challenges and barriers when you're geographically isolated is less discussed. Our DETA team shared real-life examples of projects, and unique challenges when taking action on climate and energy change happens in the regions.

You'll discover

  • Infrastructure Challenges: taking a deep dive into projects, from both AU and NZ, we discussed the specific infrastructure limitations and logistical challenges in regional areas that influence the adoption of renewable energy.
  • Economic Impact: we discussed how transitioning to greener practices affects the local economy in regional areas.
  • Impact & Implications beyond the community: we discussed cultural and social perceptions about change, and consider the hurdles at play with energy equity.
